Mark Reiff is the Founder and Managing Partner of Reiff Search Solutions. He specializes in Board and senior management searches (CxO and VP Sales) for technology and life science companies. Currently in his twentieth year of executive search, Mark now focuses on the Indiana and Midwest US markets. He has made successful Board and senior management placements at emerging Midwest companies G2 Crowd, Carterra, 250ok, Ahalogy, ClearObject, Curvo, Dialogtech, Greenlight Guru, hc1.com, JourneyGuide, Nutshell, SmarterHQ, and Trinity Guardion.
Mark works with both emerging as well as established companies, but it is with the emerging market that he has established himself. Not only with his unique compensation plan of primarily taking an equity position with these emerging companies, but also having the experience of a global outreach and attracting that talent to an underserved market.
Prior to founding Reiff Search Solutions, Mark was a Partner at Silicon Valley based Lonergan Partners, conducting a variety of senior executive projects in technology and life science markets. Mark started his search career at Heidrick & Struggles, Inc [Nasdaq: HSII] in the firm’s Silicon Valley office and was a member of that firm’s Information Technology Practice.
Prior to executive recruiting, Mark had a successful collegiate coaching career in Track and Field at Yale University, CSU - Long Beach and Stanford University. Mark was also involved in the early years of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, holding national offices, authoring articles, and lecturing internationally. These early years of the NSCA led to the creation of the strength and conditioning profession that now exists in professional, collegiate and high school programs worldwide.
During Mark’s career in athletics, he also worked with some of the legendary coaches in the history of college athletics: Carm Cozza (Yale), George Allen (Long Beach State), Bill Walsh (Stanford) and Vin Lananna (Stanford).
Mark holds a BS degree in Education from the University of Indianapolis, and an MS in Exercise Physiology from Indiana University, Bloomington. Mark and his wife Peggy live in Zionsville, Indiana.
